What is the difference between a suspended license and a revoked license?
A suspension is loss of driving privileges for a set amount of time. Once that time is up, you pay a fee and get your license back. A revocation is also for a set amount of time, but, once that time has passed, you do not automatically get your license back. You have to go to a hearing to prove to the Secretary of State that you can be a safe and responsible driver in the future.
