Facing allegations for a repeated drug offense can be a stressful and daunting process. Local police assert that a call was placed notifying them of a man who was apparently asleep behind the wheel of a running car at a nearby store. Upon arriving at the scene, they claim that the subject was standing next to the vehicle and appeared to be impaired. When questioned by authorities, the man allegedly advised police to search him, which they claim revealed three bags of heroin that were hidden in his hat.
According to reports, the man was out on parole in relation to four previous drug-related convictions after spending as many as three years behind bars. He is now facing felony possession charges, the consequences of which would likely be devastating if he is convicted.
